CLIMATEGATE BOOK - Exposing the Global Warming Scam

The other bad decision

Before Thursday’s Supreme Court ruling on the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare), on Tuesday the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia threw out a petition challenging the Environmental Protection Agency’s claim that carbon dioxide is a lethal “pollutant” that endangers public health because it is a greenhouse gas and a factor in global warming. The Appeals Court decision was based in part on a 2007 Supreme Court ruling that stated the 1970 Clean Air Act empowered the EPA to regulate CO2.  This was clumsy claim, given that the Clean Air Act mentions nothing about CO2. In...

The New Eco-Scare: Extinction

The UN Conference on Sustainable Development has wrapped up in Rio de Janeiro and the overwhelming consensus among participants is that the human population, left unchecked,  is set to force a mass extinction of species. The reason? Human’s are consuming the world’s resources at an alarming rate and are throwing the earth out of balance, say the eco-activists. Unless drastic protocols are emplaced, this terrestrial ball will experience a complete species meltdown, much like the cataclysmic event that killed off the dinosaurs millions of years ago, they contend. The gathering of...

On the “Mother of the Environmental Movement”

I’ve written extensively about Rachel Carson, author of the bestselling eco-screed, Silent Spring. Carson is the person the U.S. Department of Interior bills as, “The mother of the enivronmental movement.”  Truth is, Carson was a fanatic who purposefully employed junk science to hammer capitalism and begrudge free markets. As I prove in Eco-Tyranny, Carson regularly employed the input of known communists in her writing, including in Silent Spring.  In a word, Carson loathed America. My friend, Alan Caruba, recently penned this brilliant piece on the 50th anniversary of Silent...

TV station blames falling ice chunk on global warming

I’m dumbstruck. A local TV station here in San Francisco is suggesting that global warming could be the reason a basketball sized chunk of ice fell from the sky Sunday evening, ripping a hole through the roof of a home in Fremont, just east of the Bay. According to KTVU television: The ice that hit the roof of a Fremont home is white, not blue.  Blue ice colored by disinfectant sometimes falls from aircraft lavatories. The chunk left a hole the size of a basketball in the tile roof of the home. The family described a loud crash. When they went outside to look, they found the white ice. Hmmm....

When Eco-Thugs Knock

This article, by Brian Sussman, was originally published at American Thinker: Larry Keller had no idea the Environmental Protection Agency employed agents fortified with deadly force until two such men showed up at his home, unannounced, to “question” him. Keller runs a computer consulting business from his Asheville, North Carolina home.  On April 27 he sent an email to the EPA in an attempt to reach Al Armendariz, the EPA regional administrator who, two days earlier, had been caught in a gone-viral YouTube video boasting about his desire to “crucify” Big Oil executives. After watching the...
