Many are quite concerned about Senate Bill 1813, a massive piece of legislation supposedly devoted to transportation issues. Besides including a provision allowing the IRS the power to revoke passports belonging to those who are delinquent with tax debt in excess of $50,000, it appears that the potential law may be used to measure the size of your carbon footprint each time you get behind the wheel. It’s all because of a vague provision slipped into bill, which has already passed the U.S. Senate, and is likely to be rubber...

Yesterday I took a video crew to the Earth Day Festival in Santa Cruz, California. I chose this location because this city is known for being a model of greenness, and even maintains Department of Climate Change, complete with a director making $250,000 per year.
The question I posed in my man-on-the street-interviews was, “What is the greatest threat confronting mankind?”
In almost every interview, I was told the greatest threat was the human species.
Most troubling was an interview with a 12-year old girl who said she had been taught in school that global warming was real, that there were too...

A recent story at American Thinker revealed that an acclaimed environmental studies professor contends those who do not believe humans are causing global warming are mentally ill and need to be “treated.”
Keri Norgaard teaches at the University of Oregon and is the author of Living in Denial: Climate Change, Emotions and Everyday Life. In her book she compares global warming skepticism to racism, arguing that there is a “cultural resistance” that keeps some people from acknowledging that humans are responsible for...

After 25 years of battling environmentalists, Star Wars filmmaker George Lucas has retreated from plans to construct a beautiful mission-style movie-making mansion on thousands of acres of land he owns in Marin County, California, twenty miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge.
The people of Marin are proud of their liberalism and adherence to the green agenda. The community is extremely upscale and home to many rock stars and Hollywood-types. One would think the inhabitants of this hippie and yuppie paradise would be thrilled to have George Lucas’ business located...

While the “mainstream” media is quick to spew out that the “majority of scientists believe in anthropogenic climate change,” (even though that percentage was garnered from a mysterious poll of only 77 people), it’s interesting to note how they have not covered this story: a number of significant NASA scientists, including seven astronauts, have publically stated in a letter to NASA’s administrator, that they are not fans of the man-caused global warming theory, and they would like NASA to quit wasting government money hyping the scam.
NASA is an agency that has...
