Al Gore, the award-winning hypocrite, contends that the turmoil in Syria can be attributed–in large measure–to global warming.
Guess what? I agree, as I’ll explain.
First about Al the hypocrite. As I explain in by bestselling book, Climategate, Al’s initial money came from his daddy’s wealth achieved through a sweetheart partnership stake in Occidental Oil. Al also made a fair amount of cash early on via a lease to mine natural resources on his property in Tennessee. As for his personal carbon footprint, owning multiple mansions and flying around the world aboard private jets enhance Al’s. Of course Gore’s crowning achievement of hypocrisy came about last year when he sold his television network, Current TV, to the Qatar-based news operation, Al Jazeera.
Al Jazeera, the media outlet favored by Islamo-Nazis, is funded by the Emir of Qatar. Gore netted $100 million with his 20 percent stake in the network when it was sold for a reported $500 million.
And how has the Emir made the lion’s share of his wealth? By selling oil! That’s right, the very stuff that environmentalists decry as the earth’s greatest enemy was at the heart of Al Gore’s biggest payday.
That’s hypocrisy on steroids.
As for the Syrian situation, Gore told Rolling Stone, “Syria is one of the countries that has been in the bulls eye of climate change.” He continued, saying, “Though the hellish and ongoing civil war in Syria has multiple causes…their climate related drought may have been the biggest trigger for the horror.”
Here’s where I agree with Al. The reasons for the problems in the Middle East are many: religion, tribal hatred, tradition, and the climate. Let’s be realistic, full-length female burkas and burlap male underwear in 100+ degree weather would exacerbate the agitation factor in anyone!
