John Coleman is the co-founder of the Weather Channel. He’s also one of the leading voices exposing the global warming sham.
Did I mention John Coleman is also the guy who inspired me to become a television meteorologist?
When I was in the eighth grade my family moved from the west to Chicago. John was the market’s top meteorologist. He was entertaining, informative, educational, and credible.
Watching him, I thought becoming a TV weatherman would be an awesome way to make a living, but, at the same time, figured it was likely a fanciful dream.
Ten years later I was fronting the weather maps live on-the-air and living the dream. And John’s opinions about global warming were fast becoming mine as well.
This week, in an open letter attacking the United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, John Coleman wrote: “The ocean is not rising significantly.
“The polar ice is increasing, not melting away. Polar Bears are increasing in number.
“Heat waves have actually diminished, not increased. There is not an uptick in the number or strength of storms (in fact storms are diminishing).
“I have studied this topic seriously for years. It has become a political and environment agenda item, but the science is not valid.”
Coleman added: “There is no significant man-made global warming at this time, there has been none in the past and there is no reason to fear any in the future.
“Efforts to prove the theory that carbon dioxide is a significant greenhouse gas and pollutant causing significant warming or weather effects have failed.
“There has been no warming over 18 years.”
Right on, John Coleman. You speak the truth and inspired me to experience a wonderful life. Twenty fabulous years on television; a second successful career in talk radio; and two bestselling books exposing the climate change sham.
John Coleman—thank you!
